Our History

Handley Removals was first established in 1913 by John Handley, grandfather of our current Director, Peter Handley and great-grandfather of Chris.

With just a horse and cart he built a reputation with honest, family values and as the company and the world developed, John, together with his family, established a business that has lasted into the next century. A rare jewel in today's tough business market.

We continue to provide a first class service to every customer as if we were moving their own family, making the whole process as stress free as possible.

Throughout the decades the company has developed and adapted to our ever changing world and the photos here of the many vehicles owned by the family over the years illustrate just how many changes there have been.
